Thurston County in Washington state bans pesticide to save the bees

Imagine a national recall on honey bees because of faulty ignition switches or self-destructive habits of bringing toxins to the hive. Thurston County is the first county in Washington State to prohibit the use of a certain kind of pesticides known as neonicotinoids, or “neonics” for short. Read the full article at examiner.com.
